Getting Started Guide

Learn how to securely manage your cryptocurrencies with Ledger Live Desktop.

Download the Ledger Live application from the official ledger.com website. Install it on your desktop by following the on-screen instructions.

Ledger Live Desktop supports Windows, macOS, and Linux. Choose the version compatible with your computer.

Connect your Ledger hardware wallet to your computer using a USB cable. Ensure it is unlocked and ready for Ledger Live integration.

All Ledger Nano S and X devices are compatible with Ledger Live Desktop. Make sure your firmware is up-to-date.

Ledger Live allows you to manage multiple cryptocurrency accounts in one place. Click "Add Account" and select the cryptocurrency you want to manage.

Ledger Live supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, and hundreds of altcoins. You can manage each with individual accounts for better tracking.

Select an account, enter the recipient address, the amount, and confirm the transaction on your Ledger device.

Share your account address with the sender. Your private keys remain safe within your Ledger hardware device.

Regular firmware updates are critical to maintaining security and adding new features to your Ledger device.

Always verify websites, store your recovery phrase offline, and never share your PIN or passphrase.
